Each professional is responsible for the individual requirements as stipulated by his/her licensing agency. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Please note: You must attend "live" (in real-time) for the duration of the training to earn CE credits.
After the event, you will receive access to your evaluation and continuing education certificate via a personalized "attendee dashboard" link, hosted on the CE-Go website. This link will be sent to the email account you used to register for the event.
Upon accessing the CE-Go "attendee dashboard", you will be able to:
- Complete evaluation forms for the event
- Download your continuing education certificate in a PDF format

Event Learning Objectives
- Identify two common challenges mental health professionals face in practicing presence and emotional attunement as parents.
- Describe how the HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) framework can improve well-being.
- Apply HOPE’s three antiracist action principles to evaluate a policy or practice in an early childhood setting
- Name 3 strategies parents can employ to reduce technology use and promote independence among children.
- List three evidence-based mental health strategies that support the social-emotional development of children ages 0–5 in the context of a supportive environment.
- Identify two common challenges mental health professionals face in practicing presence and emotional attunement.
- Formulate one specific plan for integrating the concept of "presence" into clinical practice or caregiving routines with young children.
- Describe 2 effective strategies for therapist-psychiatrist collaboration
- Identify 2 key clinical indicators that help differentiate between overlapping symptoms related to trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, and mood dysregulation in complex cases
- Identify at least 3 negative outcomes for children and families when mental health care is not provided during the peripartum period.
- Identify 3 mindfulness methods for creating self-care and presence as care providers.

- Identify and analyze at least four specific elements of therapist-child interactions—including indicators of therapeutic change, mis-attunement, relational rupture and repair, and opportunities to deepen emotional processing—during reflective practice exercises.
- List at least 3 common neurobehavioral impacts of prenatal substance exposure
- Identify at least 1 intervention or accommodation you may use in your professional role to support children with in-utero exposure

General Policies
This unique hybrid event is designed to reach a wide audience in order to help to integrate up to date clinical information with informed, evidence-based care in daily clinical practice. The format includes plenary sessions and targeted breakout sessions. Interactive training with therapeutic techniques and interventions are incorporated into each session.
Attendance Policy
CE Credit and Certificates will not be issued to those who arrive later than 10 minutes or leave early from any course scheduled time.
Refunds and Cancellations Policy
The full course tuition is refundable, less $25 fee if your cancellation is received in writing, on or before September 1st, 2025. Cancellations between September 2nd and September 15th will be refunded at 50% of the registration fee. No refunds will be allowed on or after September 16th or for those who do not attend.
